Heavy Machinery Driver/Operators

to support cutting-edge mining vehicle operations and testing in Australia.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Heavy Machinery Driver/Operator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safety, performance, and operational excellence while supporting real-world vehicle testing and field operations.

Your Day-to-Day Includes

• ✅ Operating 40-ton articulated haul trucks, excavators, bulldozers, and Ford Raptors
• ✅ Conducting pre-trip/post-trip inspections and completing DVIRs
• ✅ Identifying and reporting maintenance or performance concerns
• ✅ Supporting hardware and software testing activities
• ✅ Providing detailed operational feedback to engineering teams
• ✅ Maintaining strict safety and compliance standards
• ✅ Assisting with field operations and occasional travel (up to 5%)

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking dependable, safety-focused operators who take pride in their work and are excited to be part of innovative mining and vehicle technology projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• ✔ 5+ years of verified heavy machinery operating experience
• ✔ Comfortable operating and reversing 20-ton+ vehicles for extended periods
• ✔ Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• ✔ Professional communication and teamwork skills
• ✔ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• ✔ Interest in advanced driver-assistance or autonomous vehicle technology
• ✔ CDL/commercial license preferred (not required)

Driving & Safety Requirements

• Clean driving history
• No serious violations within the past 5 years
• No DUI/DWI/reckless driving convictions within 10 years
• No preventable accidents within 3 years
• Ability to pass a background check and road test
