Part time Carpenter

• TruBlue of Western DuPage is looking for a
• skilled technician with strong Part time carpentry, handyman, and light remodeling experience
• to join our growing team. We specialize in home maintenance, repairs, and small remodeling projects for homeowners throughout DuPage County.
• This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well with customers, and enjoys solving a wide range of home repair challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential handyman and home repair work
• Carpentry projects including trim, doors, framing, and cabinetry adjustments
• Bathroom updates and light remodeling
• Drywall repair and painting
• Install fixtures, hardware, and basic plumbing repairs
• Diagnose home repair issues and recommend solutions
• Maintain a clean and professional job site
• Take before and after photos of work completed

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience in handyman, carpentry, or remodeling work
• Strong carpentry skills (doors, trim, framing, cabinets)
• Experience with drywall repair and painting
• Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
• Professional communication with homeowners
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

• Bathroom remodel work
• Tile installation
• Aging-in-place / safety modifications
• Experience working in occupied homes
