About The Role

TruBlue of Western DuPage is looking for a
skilled technician with strong carpentry, handyman, and light remodeling experience
to join our growing team. We specialize in home maintenance, repairs, and small remodeling projects for homeowners throughout DuPage County.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well with customers, and enjoys solving a wide range of home repair challenges.

Responsibilities

Perform residential handyman and home repair work
Carpentry projects including trim, doors, framing, and cabinetry adjustments
Bathroom updates and light remodeling
Drywall repair and painting
Install fixtures, hardware, and basic plumbing repairs
Diagnose home repair issues and recommend solutions
Maintain a clean and professional job site
Take before and after photos of work completed

Skills & Experience

5+ years experience in handyman, carpentry, or remodeling work
Strong carpentry skills (doors, trim, framing, cabinets)
Experience with drywall repair and painting
Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
Professional communication with homeowners
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

Bathroom remodel work
Tile installation
Aging-in-place / safety modifications
Experience working in occupied homes
