Service Engineer - Hyderabad, Delhi & Ahmedabad

Job Title – Aftermarket Service Engineer Role Overview Thermax Limited is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Aftermarket Service Engineer with strong technical and commercial exposure in heating products and thermal systems. The role requires hands-on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing, installation, and aftermarket sales support for products such as oil & gas burners, boilers, heat exchangers, and related heating systems. The ideal candidate should possess a balanced understanding of both service execution and customer engagement to drive service opportunities, spare sales, and long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Conduct periodic customer visits across the installed base to strengthen customer engagement and identify service/business opportunities. Execute branded services activities and generate enquiries for service contracts, retrofits, spares, and annual maintenance opportunities. Coordinate with DM/RSM and TSF teams for effective aftermarket service support and customer issue resolution. Carry out commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, breakdown maintenance , and servicing of thermal/heating equipment including oil & gas burners, boilers, and heat exchangers. Ensure timely service delivery and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and lifecycle value realization. Identify potential revenue opportunities through service upgrades, spare recommendations, and system optimization. Prepare service reports, visit reports, root cause analysis, and maintain proper service documentation. Support customers with technical guidance, operational improvements, and preventive maintenance recommendations. Maintain strong adherence to safety standards, quality norms, and company service protocols. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to improve repeat business and service retention. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma / BE / <B.Tech> in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline. 5–12 years of experience in aftermarket service, field service, or technical support within industrial heating/thermal products. Hands-on experience in: Oil & Gas Burners Boilers Heat Exchangers Heating Systems / Thermal Equipment Strong exposure to commissioning, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance activities. Experience in aftermarket sales/service revenue generation will be preferred. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and site support.
