A private family in Larchmont, NY is seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the upkeep and daily operations of their 6,000-square-foot home. The ideal candidate is energetic, takes initiative, and takes pride in maintaining a well-organized and welcoming household. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional who can work independently, anticipate needs, and provide exceptional household support. Responsibilities: Perform detailed housekeeping and maintain the cleanliness of the residence Manage household laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing Maintain organization throughout the home and ensure household spaces are tidy and functional Run local household errands, including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, returns, and other tasks Monitor household needs and proactively communicate maintenance or supply requirements Coordinate and oversee household vendors, service providers, and contractors as needed Obtain vendor quotes, schedule appointments, and relay information to the family when requested Assist with preparing the home for visiting family members and guests Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and commitment to high housekeeping standards Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative Excellent organizational and time-management skills Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for local errands Experience coordinating vendors and household projects is a plus Compensation $40 per hour, Flexible schedule of 30 - 40 hours per week, depending on candidate availability
