Your Tasks
Design and deliver data-driven IT projects on Databricks platform
Hands-on implementation of Cloud & Data Engineering projects
Provide best practices support for customers and synvert in Databricks area
Stay up-to-date with the most recent features of Databricks
Land & Expand: recognise opportunities and risks in the Cloud Data analytics area
Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers upon initial interaction
Coaching of practice members, contributing to the success of the Databricks cluster at synvert
What do we expect from you?
>4 years of experience in the area of Platform / Data Engineering & consultancy
Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Databricks Experience with hands-on implementation of the Cloud/ Data Engineering projects
Excellent programming skills (e.g. Python, Scala, Java; object-oriented). Any other language considered a plus
Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially in Databricks
Expertise in one of the following areas in Databricks: Unity Catalog, Data Warehousing, Performance Optimization Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management or in similar qualification
Certifications in Databricks: e.g. Associate or Professional, or proven record of delivering projects with Databricks
Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time)
German, English: fluent in speaking & writing
Very good presentation and communication skills
