Group Company: Suzlon Energy Limited Designation: Lead - Tower Controlling (Sales Inventory) Office Location: Position description: Description Primary Responsibilities: Lead and govern Sales Inventory controlling for tower manufacturing, dispatches, and project deliveries Monitor end‑to‑end movement of finished goods (FG), work‑in‑progress (WIP), and project‑wise tower inventory Ensure accurate tracking of tower sections, accessories, documentation, weight records, yard inventory, and dispatch readiness Validate sales inventory against BOM, production output, dispatch plans, and customer delivery schedules Drive reconciliation across Production, SCM, PPC, Dispatch, Commercial, and Finance for inventory accuracy Track ageing, slow‑moving, stuck, and non‑moving project inventory; drive risk mitigation and liquidation actions Ensure timely closure of sales inventory during monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures Support commercial teams with project‑wise inventory visibility for billing, revenue recognition, and cash flow Prepare MIS, dashboards, and variance analysis for inventory levels, FG availability, dispatches, and sales impact Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, documentation standards, and compliance frameworks Additional Responsibilities: Prior experience in tower / heavy fabrication / EPC manufacturing environments preferred Exposure to multi‑plant FG management, project dispatches, and yard inventory governance desirable Strong governance, accuracy, and process discipline essential : Required Knowledge: Required Skills: Strong expertise in inventory controlling, sales operations, and commercial finance Good understanding of tower fabrication, section-wise dispatches, and project‑wise tracking Hands‑on experience with inventory reconciliation, FG/WIP valuation, and dispatch documentation Strong analytical capability for sales‑inventory variance, ageing, and project‑wise monitoring Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), MIS reporting, and advanced Excel Strong coordination skills across SCM, Commercial, Dispatch, Production, and Finance teams
