Team Lead - WTG BOP Design (Electrical)

Key Responsibilities: HT yard and system design and detail engineering with grid interface scope for power generation equipment. Compliance with electricity regulations of various states and new equipment development for switchyard and transmission systems. Value engineering and continuous design / engineering improvement projects to reduce cost and improve reliability and performance. Review and approval of technical documentation for quality assurance of products, components, erection, and installation works. Technical support to site operations and maintenance, prototype installation, commissioning support, best practice guidance, and troubleshooting. Resolution of engineering change requests received from project teams and facilitation of implementation. Development of construction / installation manuals, safety procedures, and equipment specifications. Preparation of technical training modules for on-site and project engineering personnel, and competency enhancement of the TG team. Technical services to Marketing / Tendering, cost control, vendor development and evaluation, and RCA for field failures. Educational Qualification: <M.Tech> in Power Systems Engineering preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving, result orientation, and unbiased decision-making. Certification / Tools: Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Projects, and ETAP. Industry-Experience in Wind, Solar and BESS project engineering. Functional Competencies: Expertise in electrical substation design, earthing system design, and single line diagram preparation. Selection and sizing calculation of HT / MV substation equipment. Drafting of HT / MV equipment specifications and test plans. Remote monitoring / SCADA architecture design. Protection system design and coordination. Knowledge of IE rules, IS, CBIP, IEC standards, and Indian statutory body regulations. ETAP knowledge and simulation capability will be an added advantage.
