JOB SUMMARY

The responsibility of the Catering Server is to ensure a smooth experience for our catering patrons through knowledgeable and professional service at a variety of events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions

Provide excellent customer service for catering guests

Serve as a competent waiter at banquet events

Accurately and neatly pre-set events according to specific directions and thoroughly clean up after events are ended

Understand and communicate event details as appropriate to relevant staff and clients

Maintain organized and professional appearance

Work with constituents of Pioneer and the seminary including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and guests. Must be professional and accommodating within the established guidelines. This will require self-confidence, respect and knowledge while working with guests.

Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION

The person in this position should have some basic schooling, preferably a high school diploma.

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience is not necessary. The position requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual. Will train.
