Detail Lead / Prep Lead

• Resolute performance Iron is a specialty steel contractor seeking a Detail Lead / Prep Lead to help support
• and lead our shop operations.
• This is a hands-on lead position responsible for organizing and overseeing prep work for upcoming
• fabrication. The Detail/Prep Lead works closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure parts are completed
• accurately and efficiently, staying 1–2 weeks ahead of production. This role requires someone who takes
• initiative, communicates well, and keeps the team moving forward.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a working lead for the prep/detail team
• Ensure all materials and parts are organized, prepped correctly, and meet quality standards
• Assign tasks and provide clear priority lists to prep team members
• Track employee hours and monitor production progress
• Work closely with the Shop Foreman to support scheduling and production flow
• Ensure fitters and welders have all required parts to complete their work
• Stay ahead of fabrication needs by preparing materials in advance
• Operate shop equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Ensure daily tracking in TEKLA PowerFab is current and accurate

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a working lead in a metal fabrication environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with TEKLA PowerFab and the ability to maintain real-time tracking

Shear

• Welding machine
• Ability to read shop drawings and follow fabrication standards
• Experience operating CNC plasma tables and press brakes is preferred

Additional Information

• Office and shop location is in Phoenix, AZ
• Full time position, Monday - Thursday
• Overtime may be required depending on production needs
• Work enforcement requires the ability to sit, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift up to 50lbs.
