We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Delivery Driver & Warehouse Support team member to join our team in NW Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to job sites while supporting daily warehouse operations to keep projects moving efficiently. This position offers a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on warehouse work in a team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do Safely operate a company stake-bed truck with hydraulic lift gate to deliver materials and equipment to job sites and company locations Load, secure, and unload materials using proper techniques and equipment Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safe and compliant vehicle operation Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required paperwork Provide professional, courteous customer service during deliveries and pickups Assist with general warehouse operations when not driving , including organizing inventory, staging materials, and preparing shipments Support a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment as needed Follow all safety standards and company policies at all times What You’ll Bring Required: Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record Ability to maintain CDL requirements and safe driving standards Ability to operate a forklift Basic computer skills to navigate tool tracking systems and email Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds Strong focus on safety, reliability, and accountability Solid communication skills and ability to work well with a variety of team members Preferred: Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience High school diploma or equivalent Why Join Sargent Electric Established, growing company with a strong industry reputation Collaborative, team-driven environment with strong support across field and warehouse teams Opportunity to directly support project success and day-to-day operations Competitive compensation based on experience Consistent day shift schedule (7 AM- 3:30 PM) , with ability to be flexible when business needs arise Equal Opportunity Employer Sargent Electric Company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
