About Our Family

We are a busy, close-knit family of four with two school-age children who are truly at the center of our world, along with a friendly dog who happily joins in the everyday fun. Like many working parents, we're balancing busy careers with the desire to be fully present for our children—and both parents spend several days a week commuting into the city—so afternoons and early evenings are the most important time for consistent, reliable household support.

Our greatest priority is creating a home where our children feel supported, connected, and able to enjoy their childhood. We want our evenings to be filled with family dinners, conversations about their day, homework, activities, and time together—not an endless list of household chores waiting to be tackled after work.

Lately, what feels heaviest isn't any one task—it's the constant juggling act. Staying on top of the daily reset, keeping laundry moving, coordinating childcare coverage when schedules overlap, running errands like car maintenance and household pickups, preparing school lunches and simple meals, and keeping everything organized can quickly consume the little free time we have. We're looking for someone who can step in as a trusted partner, taking ownership of these day-to-day responsibilities so our home feels calm, organized, and well cared for.

More than anything, we're hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys creating that sense of ease for a family. Someone who is warm with our girls, proactive in the home, and takes pride in noticing what needs to be done before it becomes overwhelming. We know that having the right support doesn't just help us manage a household—it gives us the gift of more quality time together, and that's exactly what we're hoping to create.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

Warm, Engaging Presence with Children

A naturally warm, positive, and loving presence who genuinely enjoys being with children and building strong, trusting relationships. You bring energy, patience, and calm confidence that helps kids feel supported, secure, and at ease.

Proactive, Take-Charge Household Support

You naturally anticipate what needs to be done and take initiative without needing step-by-step direction. You notice the small details that keep a home running smoothly and act on them before being asked.

Strong Organizational & Systems Mindset

You are comfortable working within established routines and shared calendars while also helping reinforce, improve, and thoughtfully create new systems. You bring order to a busy household and help keep daily life organized, structured, and predictable.

Flexible, Adaptable & Calm Under Pressure

You adjust to shifting priorities and changing schedules with ease, maintaining a calm and steady approach even during busy or unpredictable days.

Energetic, Positive, and Naturally Uplifting

You bring a bright, upbeat energy into the home that helps set a positive tone, especially during busy afternoons. You make daily life feel lighter, more enjoyable, and well-supported.

Strong Communicator & Team Player

You communicate clearly, proactively, and respectfully with parents. You are comfortable checking in, sharing updates, and adapting to feedback while maintaining a steady, grounded presence in the home.

Detail-Oriented with Strong Anticipation Skills

You think ahead and are naturally tuned into what a family will need before they ask. You stay one step ahead with planning, preparation, and awareness of upcoming needs and events.

Trustworthy & Consistent

You are dependable, discreet, and take pride in being a stable, reliable presence in the household. You approach the role with professionalism, care, and consistency.
