About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)
to support the development of advanced satellite systems through modern digital engineering practices. In this role, you will develop and maintain system architectures, create model-based engineering artifacts, and ensure end-to-end requirements traceability while supporting spacecraft commissioning and operations during the
Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP)
. The ideal candidate has a strong background in satellite systems engineering, MBSE methodologies, and mission operations, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain system architectures using
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- methodologies.
- Create and manage
SysML
models using
Cameo Systems Modeler
- .
- Perform functional decomposition and maintain end-to-end requirements traceability.
- Support digital engineering initiatives throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain
Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
- documentation and system behavior models.
- Support spacecraft commissioning and
Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP)
- activities.
- Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, integration, and operations teams to ensure mission readiness.
- Participate in architecture reviews, engineering trade studies, and technical design reviews.
- Support systems integration, verification, validation, and operational readiness activities.
- Prepare engineering documentation and communicate technical recommendations to stakeholders.
