About the Role

We are seeking a

Senior Flight-Operations Satellite Systems Engineer

to lead the design, integration, and optimization of advanced satellite operations for LEO and MEO missions. In this role, you will provide technical leadership across flight operations, systems engineering, and mission planning while supporting the development of automated satellite operations and next-generation space systems. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in satellite operations, systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and mission-critical aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, integration, and operation of satellite flight systems for LEO and MEO missions.
  • Develop and enhance automated satellite operations and mission workflows.
  • Define and support space and ground segment architecture, system integration, and operational concepts.
  • Collaborate with flight software teams to support mission operations and system performance.
  • Develop and maintain satellite database operations and telemetry management strategies.
  • Create and utilize system models and simulation tools to validate mission performance.
  • Develop automation scripts and engineering tools using

Python

or other scripting languages.

Utilize

MATLAB

and

AGI Systems Tool Kit (STK)

  • to support mission analysis, modeling, and system validation.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering

  • or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years

Experience with

Strong systems engineering experience in
