IN_Senior Associate_SAP BTP CAP_SAP_Advisory_Gurugram

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain business applications using SAP BTP and CAP framework. Develop OData services, Fiori/UI5 applications, and integrate them with SAP back-end systems. Work with CDS (Core Data Services) models to define data schemas and services in CAP projects. Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on SAP BTP, including SAP Kyma, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Workflow services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Implement security, authentication, and authorization using SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and SAP Authorization and Trust Management. Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure best practices in CAP development and SAP BTP solutions. Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP offerings, CAP framework updates, and cloud-native development trends. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP development, with a strong focus on SAP BTP and CAP framework. Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) for application development. Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Kyma, SAP Workflow, and SAP Integration services. Experience in developing Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services. Proficiency in Core Data Services (CDS) and Node.js or Java as used in CAP projects. Familiarity with SAP Cloud SDK and CI/CD pipelines for cloud application deployment. Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security models in SAP BTP (e.g., IAS, XSUAA). Knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven programming, and microservices architecture. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with SAP BTP. Knowledge of Kubernetes and SAP Kyma runtime environment. Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.). SAP certifications related to SAP BTP or SAP Cloud Platform development.
