Job Description & Summary: We are looking for an experienced Cloud/Data Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of complex enterprise cloud and data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in hybrid cloud, multi-cloud architecture, data platforms, application modernization, DevSecOps, microservices, security, compliance, and enterprise integration. The role requires strong consulting, architecture, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, define target-state architectures, create solution roadmaps, and oversee implementation across infrastructure, applications, data, and security layers. Job Position Title: IN_Senior Manager_Cloud Solution Architect _One Cloud_Advisory_PAN India Responsibilities: Cloud & Enterprise Architecture Design end-to-end cloud, data, and platform architectures for enterprise-scale transformation programs. Define current-state and target-state architectures across infrastructure, applications, integration, data, and security domains. Lead architecture assessments for cloud readiness, application modernization, platform migration, and data transformation. Develop hybrid and multi-cloud strategies across public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments. Create architecture artifacts including HLD, LLD, solution blueprints, migration plans, reference architectures, and deployment patterns. Drive adoption of cloud-native design principles, microservices, containerization, API-led architecture, and automation. Data Architecture & Platforms Architect scalable and secure data platforms for analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and enterprise data integration use cases. Design data ingestion, processing, storage, governance, and consumption layers using modern cloud data services. Define data architecture patterns including data lake, data warehouse, lakehouse, streaming, batch processing, and API-based data access. Collaborate with business, data engineering, analytics, and security teams to build reliable and compliant data solutions. Support data migration, modernization, and integration initiatives across legacy and cloud-native platforms. Cloud Migration & Modernization Lead large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives across applications, infrastructure, services, and data. Define migration strategies such as rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, retire, and retain. Design migration factory models, assessment frameworks, landing zones, and operational readiness plans. Support modernization of monolithic applications into microservices and containerized workloads. Architect disaster recovery, high availability, backup, and business continuity solutions for mission-critical platforms. DevSecOps, Automation & Platform Engineering Define DevSecOps architecture and automation strategy across CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, configuration management, and release management. Design container platforms using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent orchestration platforms. Implement automation-first approaches for provisioning, monitoring, patching, security, compliance, and day-2 operations. Establish deployment strategies such as blue-green deployment, canary releases, and zero-downtime deployment models. Work with engineering teams to embed security, compliance, and quality gates into delivery pipelines. Security, Compliance & Governance Design secure cloud and data architectures aligned with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure solutions address identity and access management, encryption, network security, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and auditability. Support compliance requirements such as GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FDA, PSD2, or other industry-specific standards. Collaborate with risk, audit, security, and infrastructure teams to support internal and external audits. Define governance models for cloud adoption, cost optimization, security posture, and operational excellence. Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership Engage with business leaders, technology stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, vendors, and client leadership. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical solutions. Support pre-sales and consulting activities including RFP responses, solution proposals, SOW creation, effort estimation, and technical presentations. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to architects, engineers, and delivery teams. Oversee solution implementation to ensure alignment with architecture, timelines, quality, and business outcomes. Mandatory skill sets: Cloud & Infrastructure · Strong experience with one or more hyperscalers: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or enterprise private cloud platforms. · Experience designing hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and private cloud solutions. · Knowledge of cloud landing zones, networking, storage, compute, identity, security, monitoring, and cost optimization. · Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms such as VMware, OpenStack, KVM, Citrix, or equivalent technologies. Data & Analytics · Experience architecting enterprise data platforms, data lakes, warehouses, or lakehouse architectures. · Understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT, batch and real-time data pipelines, metadata, lineage, and governance. · Knowledge of cloud-native data services, databases, object storage, analytics platforms, and AI/ML enablement. · Ability to define data modernization and migration strategies. Application & Integration Architecture · Strong knowledge of application modernization, microservices, REST APIs, SOA, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns. · Experience with programming or application development using technologies such as Python, Java, Node.js, Flask, Django, Angular, RESTful APIs, or equivalent. · Understanding of web technologies, API gateways, service mesh, and enterprise integration patterns. DevSecOps & Tools · Hands-on or architectural experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, GoCD, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet. · Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Logstash, Fluentd, and New Relic. · Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, monitoring, logging, ticketing, and ITSM platforms. · Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment models. · Knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration management practices. Security & Compliance · Experience with IAM, MFA, SSO, secrets management, vulnerability management, encryption, and network security. · Familiarity with tools and platforms such as CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, FortiGate, NetScaler, or equivalent. · Understanding of security and compliance frameworks including GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FDA, PSD2, or similar. Preferred skill sets: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent. Kubernetes / CNCF certifications or TOGAF / enterprise architecture certifications are preferred. Experience in consulting, client-facing solution architecture, or technology advisory roles. Experience working in regulated industries such as banking, healthcare, life sciences, telecom, or large enterprise environments.
