Power BI Engineer

You will deliver the reporting layer that gives business leaders visibility into telecom network health, subscriber behaviour, and fintech financial performance — enabling data-driven decisions at every level of the organisation.

ROLE MISSION

Deliver enterprise BI solutions using Power BI and semantic models in Fabric.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards for telecom operations (network KPIs, subscriber analytics, ARPU, churn rate, NPS) and fintech management (revenue, transaction volumes, fraud rates, agent performance)

Develop semantic models on Microsoft Fabric that serve as the single source of truth for business metrics

Work with business stakeholders across telecom and fintech divisions to translate requirements into actionable visual analytics

Implement row-level security to control access to sensitive customer and financial data

Optimise report performance for large-scale telecom and transaction datasets

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Power BI (Desktop, Service, Power Query)

• DAX (advanced measures and calculations)
• Data modelling (dimensional, star schema)

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Microsoft Fabric semantic model experience
• Experience building dashboards for telecom or financial services
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification
• Power BI REST API and deployment pipeline knowledge
