About The Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Surveillance Countermeasure (TSCM) Technician to support government installations within the National Capital Region (NCR), conducting inspections to identify and mitigate unauthorized networks, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals, in support of national security missions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong SIGINT background with experience supporting ISR, STG, LLVI, targeting, Radio Reconnaissance, or related tactical signals intelligence operations . This role requires hands-on experience with RF monitoring, signal analysis, surveillance detection, technical threat identification, and adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) and Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) policies. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of office spaces and sensitive government facilities to detect and mitigate unauthorized surveillance threats. Conduct RF monitoring and analysis to identify unauthorized Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, and other radio frequency activity. Operate advanced radio frequency monitoring and technical surveillance detection equipment. Analyze signal data, investigate anomalies, and maintain a signals database for historical comparison and trend analysis. Apply SIGINT collection and analysis experience to identify, characterize, and assess signals of interest. Support technical investigations involving RF, wireless, communications, and other signal transmission mediums. Assist with TSCM investigations, including instrumented and physical searches across facilities, networks, and communications environments. Conduct mobile device detection sweeps in accordance with PFPA requirements. Provide recommendations for mitigating or neutralizing identified technical and RF threats. Adhere to established TSCM protocols and standards to ensure comprehensive inspections. Accurately document inspection activities, findings, anomalies, and corrective actions. Prepare written reports in the PFPA-SSD format within five days of an investigation, including findings and actionable recommendations. Provide clear and concise briefings on inspection results during operational meetings and staff updates. Support SIGINT-informed analysis, targeting, and threat assessment activities when required. Coordinate with operational, intelligence, security, and technical personnel to resolve identified anomalies. Ensure compliance with DoD, IA-30, and PFPA policies governing the workplace and technical security environment. Complete mandatory training within established timeframes. Support PFPA by executing and coordinating operational and technical security matters. Adhere to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) to ensure performance standards are consistently met. Provide briefings to senior DoD executives, security officials, and policy decision-makers when required. Required Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of TSCM, SIGINT, technical surveillance, RF analysis, or closely related operational experience . Strong background in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) , electronic surveillance detection, RF collection, or tactical signal analysis. Experience supporting ISR, STG, LLVI, targeting, Radio Reconnaissance, or similar SIGINT operations . Experience detecting, analyzing, characterizing, or resolving RF and wireless signal anomalies. Familiarity with tactical or specialized RF collection and monitoring equipment. Ability to interpret signal data and differentiate legitimate activity from potential technical threats. Active TS/SCI clearance required. Ability to work onsite at the Pentagon and other DoD facilities throughout the National Capital Region (NCR) . Valid driver's license without special restrictions. Highly Desired Qualifications Graduation from the Department of Defense TSCM Service School . Military SIGINT training, including relevant MOS school or technical training at Goodfellow AFB . Radio Reconnaissance / Radio Recon experience. Experience conducting or supporting ISR targeting, STG targeting, or LLVI targeting . Experience or certification involving Harris RF / SIGINT equipment . Experience supporting Minutemen missions or programs. Experience supporting Mad Dog deployments . MMST experience. Tactical SIGINT collection, exploitation, or targeting experience. Prior deployed intelligence, SIGINT, ISR, or technical surveillance experience. Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, PFPA, counterintelligence, or other sensitive national security missions.
