Family Services Specialist III

Annual Salary: H14C $44,272.80 +

• Travel is Occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
• This is a full-time position in an office setting and will be
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience requirements consist of

• a master’s degree
• or a bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in professional social work
• or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of experience in professional social work for each year of the bachelor’s degree
• or three (3) years of experience as a Family Services Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• In-person incumbents perform at the specialist level, where employees are designated as the lead
• workers or backup supervisors to lower-level employees, or are responsible for carrying a complex
• and difficult caseload.
• Responsibilities include assigning caseloads, providing training in
• caseload principles and practices, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well
• as agency policy and procedures.
• Some incumbents may be embedded with community partners in
• order to remove barriers to access.
• Incumbents assigned to this level may coordinate an
• interdisciplinary treatment team; may be assigned multiple county or district-wide responsibilities for
• the provision of social services and may act as a project director.
