Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented

SAP Business One (SAP B1) Report Developer

with

3–5 years of experience

in designing, developing, and maintaining reports within the SAP Business One environment, developing MIS reports, dashboards, and business reports for operational and management decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to create customized reports, queries, and dashboards that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom reports for SAP Business One using Crystal Reports.
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from SAP B1 databases (MS SQL Server / SAP HANA).
• Work with SAP B1 functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain queries using SAP B1 Query Manager and Formatted Searches (FMS).
• Customize and enhance existing SAP B1 reports, layouts, and dashboards (crystal, excel integration, power BI) as per business requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and SAP B1 modules.
• Optimize report performance and ensure efficient data retrieval from large datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation, data discrepancies, or query performance.
• Maintain documentation for report logic, database queries, and data sources.
• Support SAP B1 implementation, upgrades, and reporting enhancements.

Skills and Experience Required

• 3–5 years of experience working with SAP Business One reporting.
• Strong expertise in Crystal Reports development for SAP B1.
• Proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server / SAP HANA) for data extraction and reporting.
• Experience with SAP B1 Query Manager and Formatted Searches (FMS).
• Good understanding of SAP B1 database structure and tables.
• Familiarity with SAP B1 modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory.
• Ability to design efficient reports and optimize performance for large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to interact with functional consultants and business users.
• Experience working on SAP B1 implementation or support projects.
