About The Role
Jd – Power Train (Design Engineer)
Responsibilities
- Execute the design of parts within their scope:
- Design the parts (2D, 3D, and simulation).
- Ensure technical convergence (technical definition summary).
- Define the connecting elements (assembly constraints) and assembly drawings.
- Ensure the product documentation monitoring of parts within their scope:
- Assist in creating the design file.
- Manage the digital mock-up (packaging).
- Execute and update the product drawings (and 3D annotations) and archive them in the dedicated information system.
- Validate the design product/process feasibility:
- Transpose the dedicated product/process constraints during the design reviews (geometry, process, given boundary conditions, packaging, etc.).
Qualifications
- BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with knowledge of automobile parts
- Essential skills
- Ability to work with deadlines & without supervision
- Analytical skills and logical thinking
- Adaptability and learning skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills
Desired skills
- 1-7 years’ of experience in Powertrain parts and good knowledge in CATIA, GD & T and Tolerance stack up.
- Electrical Vehicle experience preferred like Power Electronics etc
- BE Mechanical Engg with good academic record
- Good Communication and Explanation skills
- Preferred immediate joiners
Experience
- 1-7 years’ of experience in Powertrain parts and good knowledge in CATIA, GD & T and Tolerance stack up.

- Experienced in powertrain components, chassis components, forging, casting, and sheet metal parts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong product management skills.
- 20% Catia Skill is ok
- Technical documentation skills, such as APQP
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Look for Candidates from OEM's and Tier 1 suppliers
