About The Role

Jd – Power Train (Design Engineer)

Responsibilities

  • Execute the design of parts within their scope:
  • Design the parts (2D, 3D, and simulation).
  • Ensure technical convergence (technical definition summary).
  • Define the connecting elements (assembly constraints) and assembly drawings.
  • Ensure the product documentation monitoring of parts within their scope:
  • Assist in creating the design file.
  • Manage the digital mock-up (packaging).
  • Execute and update the product drawings (and 3D annotations) and archive them in the dedicated information system.
  • Validate the design product/process feasibility:
  • Transpose the dedicated product/process constraints during the design reviews (geometry, process, given boundary conditions, packaging, etc.).

Qualifications

  • BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with knowledge of automobile parts
  • Essential skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines & without supervision
  • Analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Adaptability and learning skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills

Desired skills

  • 1-7 years’ of experience in Powertrain parts and good knowledge in CATIA, GD & T and Tolerance stack up.
  • Electrical Vehicle experience preferred like Power Electronics etc
  • BE Mechanical Engg with good academic record
  • Good Communication and Explanation skills
  • Preferred immediate joiners

Experience

  • 1-7 years’ of experience in Powertrain parts and good knowledge in CATIA, GD & T and Tolerance stack up.
  • JD - Power Train (Development Engineer)

  • Experienced in powertrain components, chassis components, forging, casting, and sheet metal parts.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong product management skills.
  • 20% Catia Skill is ok
  • Technical documentation skills, such as APQP
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
  • Look for Candidates from OEM's and Tier 1 suppliers
