About the Role-

We are looking for a high-impact Backend Developer with strong Data Engineering exposure to join our core engineering team. This role sits at the intersection of backend development and scalable data systems.

You will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, optimizing complex queries, and developing high-performance APIs using Python and FastAPI.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
Build and maintain ETL/data pipelines
Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance
Work on structured and unstructured data processing
Integrate APIs with data platforms and internal systems
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of services
Collaborate with product, analytics, and AI teams

Mandatory Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in
Python (production-grade coding)
Deep expertise in
SQL (query optimization, indexing, joins, aggregations)
Hands-on experience with

FastAPI

Experience building
data pipelines / ETL workflows
Solid understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL / MySQL / similar)
Experience working with large datasets

Good to Have

Experience with Airflow / KafkaCloud exposure (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Knowledge of distributed systems
Exposure to data warehousing concepts
