Job Overview
The
Key Account Manager
- will be responsible for
- driving strategic adoption, utilization, and value realization
of the
PROCALYX
TM
platform across key hospital accounts. This is a
consultative role
that requires a deep understanding of hospital finance and procurement to translate platform intelligence into tangible cost savings and profitability improvements. The KAM will work closely with hospital CXOs, finance, and procurement teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Hospital Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for hospital partners, ensuring strong engagement, satisfaction, and long-term collaboration with hospital leadership (CXOs, Finance Heads).
Platform Adoption & Change Management
- Lead the technical and operational onboarding process. Drive
- proactive change management
- within hospital teams to embed the platform's data-driven insights into their daily procurement and decision-making workflows.
Value Realization & ROI Reporting
- Monitor platform adoption and consumption data to quantify the platform's ROI for the hospital.
- Present strategic, data-backed reports to CXOs and finance teams
- detailing cost savings, margin optimization, and procurement efficiencies achieved.
Issue Resolution & Compliance
Address hospital concerns, resolve operational challenges, and ensure adherence to SCM platform policies and best practices.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Product, Data Science, and Manufacturer KAM teams to translate hospital procurement challenges into refined platform features and better internal support.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving hospital procurement challenges to identify new opportunities and strengthen the value proposition.
Key Skills
Strategic Hospital Partnership Management
- Proven ability to manage complex, long-term partnerships, specifically engaging
- CFOs, Procurement Heads, and Hospital CXOs.
Deep Domain Expertise
Strong practical knowledge of hospital finance, procurement workflows, and the broader healthcare supply chain dynamics in India.
Analytical & Value-Based Consulting
Demonstrated ability to interpret complex procurement, consumption, and market data, translating it into clear ROI presentations and actionable strategic advice for hospital leadership.
Communication & Negotiation
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders across the hospital hierarchy.
Team Collaboration
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared platform goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in key account management, hospital partnerships, and CXO-level relationship management.
- Understanding of hospital procurement workflows and SCM solutions is an advantage.
