Implementation of best industrial safety practices to improve overall safety. • Co-ordinate and train on safety functions/activities whenever required. • Maintain training report on safety. • Monitoring of hazardous waste handling and disposing it in the right dustbins. • Ensuring adherence to safe work practices in areas allocated to LSP. • Investigate Accident/Incident and suggest counter measures, corrective and preventive actions to avoid accidental occurrences. • Issue & monitor work permit for non routine activity. • Ensure availability of First Aid kit in working area. • Lead the team proactively by optimizing the departmental performance with respect to safety, health and environmental policy. • Manage the team proactively by optimizing the departmental performance with respect to customer's production and quality requirements. • Ensure everyone in your team follows the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI) • Encourage the team to buildup innovative ideas and imbibe the safety culture in every team member. • Mentor continuous Improvement projects like Kaizen,QC projects, Six Sigma, etc. • Lead 5S initiative in your area/department. • Support to achieve audit targets in Safety,5S,QMS, ISO,EMS,EnMS,VDA 6.3 etc. • Report departmental KPIs, any deviation, reasons for gaps and countermeasures. • Manage the information flow and coordinate among respective departments within MLL and customer. • Knowledge & adherence of IMS (ISO 45001 2018/ISO 14000:2018) practices.
