About The Role

Job Description – Deputy Manager | Learning & Development (L&D) Location: Luhari, Haryana Industry: E-commerce | Quick Commerce | Grocery Warehousing We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Deputy Manager – Learning & Development to lead the learning ecosystem across our grocery warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives that enhance workforce capability, operational excellence, leadership development, and employee productivity in a fast-paced warehousing environment. Key Responsibilities Design and execute learning and development strategies aligned with business objectives. Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for warehouse associates, supervisors, and managers. Develop and deliver induction programs for new hires across warehouse operations. Create and implement functional training modules covering inbound, outbound, inventory management, quality, safety, productivity, and warehouse processes. Drive capability-building initiatives to improve operational KPIs, employee performance, and customer experience. Facilitate classroom, on-the-job, and digital learning sessions. Develop leadership development programs for frontline leaders and middle management. Monitor training effectiveness using assessments, productivity metrics, audits, and feedback. Maintain training calendars, learning records, SOPs, competency matrices, and compliance documentation. Partner with Operations, HR, Quality, Safety, and Business Leaders to identify capability gaps and implement learning interventions. Drive employee engagement through learning initiatives, coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing programs. Ensure statutory and compliance training is completed as per organizational requirements. Support change management initiatives and continuous improvement projects through targeted learning programs. Manage external trainers, vendors, and digital learning platforms wherever required. Experience in designing and delivering operational and behavioural training programs. Strong understanding of warehouse processes and frontline workforce capability building.
