Job Objective/Purpose: Responsible for DC engineering, including PV module layout, string design, DC cabling, and optimization to ensure maximum energy yield, safety, and cost efficiency. Job Responsibility: • DC System Design & Optimization & Optimize designs for maximum energy yield and minimal losses. • Perform shading analysis, tilt/orientation optimization, and land utilization planning • Conduct DC design calculations like voltage window and string sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop, and losses etc. • Define DC design guidelines, best practices, and technical specifications • Review and approve drawings such as layouts, SLDs, and cable routing plans • Evaluate PV modules, DC cables, connectors, and combiner boxes Qualification & Certification Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Knowledge, Skills, & Technology Platform: • Strong expertise in solar PV DC system design • Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst • Knowledge of earthing, lightning protection, and safety systems • In-depth understanding of DC system losses and optimization techniques
