YOUR TASKS
Joining a young and dynamic team, you will undertake the following tasks
Transaction Management
- Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions across multiple asset classes (securities, listed and OTC derivatives) including booking, allocating and confirming trades into appropriate systems.
Settlement Monitoring
- Collaborate with counterparties, custodians, and clearing platforms to ensure timely and compliant settlement of transactions, promptly resolving any issues that arise.
NAV
- Ensure the efficient and accurate NAV control for funds and mandates: position reconciliation, consistency checks, fixed fee performance fee mechanisms control.
Third party relationship management
- Participate in daily relationship management with service providers (custodians, fund administrators, counterparties) for the analysis and resolution of outstanding items.
Portfolio Operations
- Corporate actions monitoring in liaison with the portfolio management team.
- Cash management for UCITS funds and fund expense billing.
- Delegated management of portfolio FX hedging.
- Collateral management as part of counterparty risk monitoring.
Process Optimization
- Actively participate in initiatives to improve operational efficiency and data enrichment.
Analysis and Reporting
- Producing regular reports on operational activities involves compiling and summarizing data to provide updates on ongoing tasks and processes.
- Contribution to regulatory fund reporting data and internal reporting.
Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to resolve operational issues, implement appropriate controls, and enhance existing processes (ex. Portfolio Management/Risk/Compliance...)
Investor & Distribution Services
- Subscription and redemption order enrichment on the fund liability side, enabling precise unitholder identification.
- Management of retrocessions owed to distribution partners.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience within Financial Services.
- Prior experience in Middle Office or Back Office roles within the financial markets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Interest in financial products and markets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
