Group Leader - Electrical Utility Projects

Designation: Group Leader - Utility Projects(Electrical) Office Location: Halol, Panchmahal, Gujarat Primary Responsibilities: Plan, schedule and implement projects of all new and expansion Electrical projects including 11kv substation, 66kv substation, PDB, PCC, DG set projects and other related electrical facilities for plant within stipulated time frame and budget. Co-ordinate with suppliers for design, specification & drawings of electrical systems. Co-ordinate with legal / liasoning government agencies for electrical plan and layout approval & implementation. Implementation of electrical safety system and compliance across the facility. Co-ordinate with other shop functions for smooth execution of Projects activities at site. Planning and implementation of maintenance improvement projects to improve efficiency. Drawings approval, BOQ & project schedule preparation, Work permits approval. Investment planning, Process design & change, Parameter setting /change. Coordination & Execution of electrical project. Additional Responsibilities: Good working knowhow on the Utility systems related to operation and Maintenance like HT / LT breakers, transformers, power distribution system etc. Hands on exposure in trouble shooting of Power Distribution equipment like Transformers , Breakers , Power Dist. panels, protective relays, switchyard equipment, DG Sets etc. Energy management system and know how on SCADA related to substation. Automation & Electrical Controls exposure to PLC ,HMI and hard wired controls Knowledge of Project Management- Green Field/Brown Field. Electrical Standard / Liasoning with Government agencies Experience on BOQ preparation, planning schedule and supervision of site activities. Knowledge on Industrial Safety requirements, NFPA & NBC norms. Basic computer skills like MS office, MS project and Auto CAD. Good team player and excellent communication skill. Educational qualifications preferred Field specialization: Electrical Utility Projects Degree: BE/BTech(Electrical) Required work experience Industry: Preferrably Auto OEM Years of experience: 5-10 Years
