Group Leader General Assembly Production - TCF Line

Working in green field plant will be an added advantage Role - Leading one of the Production teams in Trim/Chassis/Final Area to achieve the department objectives w.r.t. Delivery , Quality , Cost , Safety , Morale and Environment Position Responsibilities: Coach Safety, Quality, & Productivity objectives are met by following standardized work. Conduct Daily/weekly SOT audits to confirm Safety concerns are readily addressed and requirements are met. Coach and Support Junior engineers to achieve SPQRCE objectives through standardized work. Assist associate and Junior Engineers to maintain production flow consistent with cycle time. Monitor Andon occurrences be the first responder as secondary support. Support continuous improvement and coach problem resolution to the lowest level Communication and recognition- Communication as require performing job function. Respect and encourage respect of all associates Build Junior engineer & associate capability Create a conductive work environment for the teams to complete their assigned responsibilities and tasks Basic Administration of supervisory responsibility and documents. Functional Responsibilities Good understanding of complete process related to Trim / Chassis / Final / Electrical area and ability to lead the team thru the hands-on experience. Good understanding of Basic Automobile Sub Systems and ability to train and coach the reprocess area associates on repair specific skills. Good understanding of trim / chassis /final assembly process and trim / chassis / final area related product quality features and ability to drive team on defect free cars output Ensuring the Quality and Delivery Outputs of the assigned area of responsibility. Monitor the line stoppage issues to respective agencies like incoming quality, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance, etc., & resolve through CFT approach. Able to lead / participate cross functional teams through various problem-solving techniques in resolving issues. Knowledge of line balancing, time study and work allocation according to output requirements. Perform Concern resolution by following Basic Problem-solving tools Should have Knowledge of EOL/Final line ( ( Fluid filling systems and electrical system of car) Hands on experience of flashing tool (MFT/NGFTT) Operations and integration with server Educational Qualification, experience, skills & knowledge Bachelor’s degree or above Experience more than 5 years in Auto OEM Working in green field plant will be an added advantage Competencies & cultural requirements Planning and Problem-solving Skills Team building and Conflict Management Co-ordination and communication Dealing with Ambiguity and Managerial Courage Technical and functional skills Risk taking and Customer Focus Integrity and Trust
