About The Role
Substation Engineer Chicago, Illinois, USA Openings also in Houston, Dallas, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Austin, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston and Chattanooga This role is for a Substation Engineer who will lead and support high-voltage substation design projects (up to 765kV), including physical layouts and protection & controls systems for major power infrastructure projects such as renewables, HVDC, and battery storage. Main requirements include: 5+ years of HV substation design experience Strong experience in physical and/or protection & controls (P&C) design Ability to lead projects and perform QA/QC reviews Client coordination and technical leadership skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering PE license preferred Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office The role offers hybrid work, relocation assistance, bonus potential, and employee ownership.
