Junior Analyst Report To: Manager / Senior Manager Department: Lending Services – Financial spreading (Corporate & Investment Banking) Location: In-office, Gurugram, India (5 days per week) Shift Hours: India Daytime (9-hour shift between 8am IST to 10PM IST) Job Summary Evalueserve is seeking highly motivated professionals with strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills to contribute to critical lending and credit functions, supporting the complete lending lifecycle for global Banking and Financial Services clients. Key Responsibilities · Financials spreading (PL, BS and CF) on excel based model or lending platform along with key credit metrics calculation · Performing PD/LGD spreading on risk rating platforms (Quantitative & Qualitative Parameters) · Calculating covenants in line with facility agreements and providing detailed rationale for covenant Met/Breach results · Collateral and Pledge details assessment for borrowers in line with the bank’s policy and LGD input · Annual/Quarterly or Half yearly reviews small or medium connections o Business Overview o Financial Analysis (Historical and Forecast) (Operating, Leverage & Liquidity ratios) o Covenant performance o PD/LGD analysis o Verifying/Calculating compliance against bank transaction guidelines (DSC, FCCR, LTV, Interest cover, leverage etc.) or any other sector-based guidelines Required Qualifications · Strong accounting and financial skills · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Understanding and experience of credit review or underwriting role is Preferable · Experience on lending platforms or credit search platforms like Credit lens, nCino, Lexis/Nexis, Experian would be preferable. · Eye for details and ability to identify and solve issues effectively on time · Good MS Office skills · Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner · Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills · Ability to identify pro-active ways to contribute to firms’ goals & mission · Master’s degree with a major in finance, economics, accounting or from a reputed institute with 0 to 1 years’ experience in similar profile
