Irrigation Technician

We are looking to add an

Irrigation Worker

• to our team. This person will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for our customers’ properties.
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience with irrigation systems, be dependable, work well with others, and contribute positively to our organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance – Tasks include inspecting sprinkler systems, repairing leaks, replacing broken sprinkler heads, adjusting timers, and ensuring proper system operation.
• Install irrigation systems – Assist with the installation of pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, and control systems according to project specifications.
• Conduct system diagnostics – Identify issues such as water pressure problems, electrical malfunctions, or damaged components and provide effective solutions.
• Manage paperwork – Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and customer information.
• Maintain cleanliness – Keep work areas clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Requirements

● High School Diploma or GED
● Previous irrigation or landscaping experience preferred
● 1+ years of field or labor experience (irrigation experience a plus)
● Knowledge of irrigation tools, systems, and basic plumbing concepts
● Willingness to participate in in-house training
● Ability to operate hand and power tools
● Strong problem-solving skills
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills
