About the Position
The is seeking a
Senior Project Manager
- to lead and manage large, complex federal
- design-build construction programs
- . This is a
- long-term, full-time opportunity

- The ideal candidate will have
- extensive experience managing federal construction contracts
- and demonstrate leadership in every phase of project delivery—from preconstruction and proposal development through execution, closeout, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of
- project execution
- including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontracting, cost control, and quality/safety compliance.
Lead
- preconstruction efforts
- : proposal preparation, bid document coordination, design integration, and strategic procurement.
- Direct and coordinate the work of
- subcontractors, vendors, designers, and internal staff
- .
- Prepare, track, and update
- cost-loaded CPM schedules
- .
- Submit and manage
- monthly pay applications
- , subcontractor billing, and project financial reporting.
- Ensure full
- contract compliance
- throughout project lifecycle.
- Serve as the
- primary point of contact
- for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Proactively
- identify and pursue new project opportunities
- within existing and potential federal programs.
- Maintain responsibility for
- project P&L
- , reporting on budget forecasts, and cost analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in
Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business
- , or a related field.
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- .
- At least
- 10 years of experience
- in managing federal
- design-build construction projects
- .
One or more of the following certifications/licenses (or an additional 10 years of experience in lieu of certification)
Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Designated Design-Build Professional (DBIA)
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA)
- Proven experience with
- firm-fixed-price
- federal construction contracts.
- Familiarity with federal contract vehicles including
GSA, NAVFAC, USACE, WHS
- .
- Strong knowledge of
- construction documentation
- including specifications, drawings, schedules, and contracts.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance.
