Registered Nurse - Patient Care Specialist

Role OverviewAs a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting their physical and emotional needs. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exemplary patient outcomes, while nurturing a compassionate environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications, treatments, and procedures to patients according to physician orders and established policies.Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.Provide consultation and emotional support to patients and their families.Coordinate with healthcare professionals in meeting patient health needs.Perform routine nursing assessments and document findings.Required Skills and ExperienceCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.Preferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsSpecialized knowledge in critical care or emergency nursing.Experience with electronic health records (EHR) <systems.Education> and CertificationsAssociate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
