What you will be doing

Operations Support Specialist will report to Transportation Supervisor and will be responsible for managing responsibilities of Subcontracting and Invoicing.

The job duties are

  • Plan and Coordinate with Production/Subcontractor the availability and delivery of all orders to the warehouse/subcontractor locations.
  • Assist Customer Service in confirming all subcontracted orders shipping from US and Canadian Subcontracting facilities.
  • Create transfers, deliveries, shipments and shipment cost docs for all transfers to and customer loads from Subcontractors.
  • Create Purchase Orders for the completion of finished goods at Subcontractors
  • Maintain all Purchase Info Records (pricing) for the Subcontracting Purchase Orders
  • Post goods, manage shipments, receipt of Purchase Orders in SAP
  • Stock monitoring and running month end reports for stock at Paris location.
  • Create shipment cost documents and mileage for all loads shipped from RWNA plants and warehouses, including sister OPCO’s.
  • Reconcile all carrier invoices, correct pricing for lanes and assessorial charges.
  • Process self-billing invoices for all loads shipping from all RWNA plants and warehouses.
  • Create manual Purchase Orders for payment of Shunting, Chep, Storage & trailer repairs.
  • Process adjustments for all additional load charges.
  • Manage POD Requests from Customer Service and Accounting
  • Process and Code Customs Brokerage invoices

What you bring

  • 3+ years of transportation industry experience
  • College degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • Transportation accreditation and dispatch experience is preferred

Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Outlook)

  • Advanced written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multitasking environments
  • Professional stakeholder management with carriers and internal teams
  • Composed demeanor under pressure

  • The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
