Specialist - Data Engineer

REQUISITION ID: 11349 LOCATION: Chennai DEPARTRMENT: Digital & Remote Operations YOUR TASKS: Build and maintain data pipelines to transform, process and ingest wind measurement and master data from multiple sources and data formats to drive analytical insights. Develop and optimize data models and schemas for storage and retrieval of structured andunstructured data Perform analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with data pipelines andinfrastructure Implement data quality and governance processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliabilityof data YOUR PROFILE: University degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field 8 – 10+ year experience as a data engineer or in a similar data-intensive role Proficient knowledge in ETL, Data Lake, and data warehousing Proficient knowledge/skills: in SQL and relational databases preferably SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS (OLAP Cubes), ADF, Good programming skills in languages such as R, Python, Scala, Databricks (including spark, delta tables, unity catalog) Knowledge in data governance, security, architecture Experience with CI/CD workflows preferably azure devOPS and git Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail Wind industry or Renewable is added advantage Good stakeholder management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Nordex adheres to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
