Jenkins Veterans Domiciliary Home Lake City, Columbia County Hourly Rate: $15.38 This is a 20-hour a week position Shift: Evenings, and weekends Paid Bi-Weekly ***Other vacant OPS (Temporary) Receptionist positions (shifts) may be filled from this advertisement within Six (6) months of the closing date*** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to communicate effectively in English: speaking, reading, and writing Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must have basic computer skills Must be willing to work some evenings, and weekends Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a ‎Level II background check and drug test <https://info.flclearinghouse.com> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and Outlook) Receptionist experience in a medical or Long-Term care facility POSITION DESCRIPTION : The incumbent will be responsible for handling several administrative duties, which include assisting the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties. Answers phones and routes incoming and in-house calls Takes and delivers accurate messages to appropriate staff members in a timely fashion Assists residents, families, and other visitors with any questions Assist with making doctor appointments for residents Performs basic bookkeeping, filing, copier, fax machine and other clerical duties Shred paperwork as needed Performs other routine office duties as instructed by supervisor This is an OPS (Other Personal Services) position.
