Engineer - Brakes

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1.Working in PLM environment for BOM preparation and releases <2.Support> to proto & manufacturing build <3.Study> of concerns from manufacturing and validation 4.Concept development and continuous benchmarking <5.To> interact with cross functional team of other department. <6.Design> and development of sheet metal parts 7.DFMEA, DFA, DFS. 8.Validation and manufacturing issue resolution. 9.Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication/ material strength/machining process. 10. Should be able to adhere and maintain all design documents Experience 3-5 years’ experience in Sheet Metal and Brakes Industry Preferred Automobile Brakes Suppliers Qualifications B.E / B. Tech Mechanical / Automobile engineering. General Requirements Technical Competencies 1.Knowledge of CATIA V5 (Part, assembly, drawing), Teamcenter, MS Office 2.Material, manufacturing process, homologation & validation <3.GD>&T, stack up tolerance, FTA, 4.Knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFS, DFMEA 5.System and product knowledge with design calculation Behavioural competencies Planning and organising.
