Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Understanding of Vehicle proprietary parts (Mainly Suspensions, Steering, Front Axle,Brake) Knowledge of Vehicle system parts supplier/process for above mentioned systems 1. Study & Analysis of SOR/ Drawings for vehicle proprietary components. 2. Knowledge of selection of ideal manufacturing processes based on drawing/Tolerances. 3. Knowledge of cycle time estimation / Most techniques 4. Cost Estimation for proprietary parts from drawing. 5. Component Cost Benchmarking. 6. Knowledge of target Costing / Business perspective. 7. Coordination with various agencies (Design/Product Planning / Sourcing) 8. Knowledge of VAVE 9. Cost Reduction & Cost Improvements in vehicle proprietary components. 10. Knowledge of preparing BOM for proprietary parts. 11. Standiazation of child parts. Preferred Industries Automobile Farm Sector Education Qualification Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile; <B.Tech> General Experience 2 to 6 yrs experience Critical Experience System Generated Core Skills Conflict Management Cost Estimation Process Knowledge - Assembly Influencing Skills Project Management Material Costing Continuous Process Improvement Vendor On-boarding System Generated Secondary Skills Relationship Management Target Costing Benchmarking Trend Analysis
