About The Role

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Area of Responsibility & Description Supplier Capacity Identify and address supplier capacity gaps in line with program plans; manage RFQs and basic techno-commercial evaluations Support capacity enhancement through tooling, dies, and process improvements; contribute to FTG process planning and execution Ensure readiness for ECN changes, model updates, and carryover parts after CDMM handover Participate in vendor evaluation, tool buy-offs, and PPAP activities with SQA/PED Execution & Governance Track and support timely execution of FTG, die development, and multi-sourcing activities with defined milestones Maintain regular engagement with supplier sites to ensure smooth execution Support data-based reviews and escalation for timely decision-making Stakeholder Management Coordinate with CPPC and SCM teams to align supplier capacity with long-term plans and forecasts Work with SCM, Manufacturing, Quality, CDMM, and SSU teams to support development needs Contribute to optimizing shared supplier capacities across businesses to support production Team Management Follow and support defined ways of working, accountability, and performance practices within the team Experience 8 - 10 Years of Experience in Supply Chain Management, Vendor Capacity Expansion, Central Allocation & Coordination Industry Preferred Autiomobile OEMs Qualifications BTech Mandatory General Requirements Key Skills & Experiences Technical Know-how Basic understanding of stamping and fixture planning; exposure to AutoForm simulation for BIW & skin panels Familiarity with press tools, welding fixtures, gauges, and plant tryout processes Working knowledge of GD&T, part validation, and coating processes (CED/powder coating) Awareness of APQP processes, vendor evaluation, and risk mitigation Understanding of part fit/function, drawings, and material characteristics Behavioral Competencies Good collaboration with internal teams and supplier partners Effective communication and a team-oriented approach with focus on timelines Role Pre-requisites Willingness to travel and engage with supplier operations as per business needs Critical Experience Experience in automotive supply chain, supplier development, or capacity planning Exposure to supplier capacity expansion and cross-functional collaboration Our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
