Louisiana-Pacific's Green Bay facility is looking for experienced Machine Operators for its AM/PM shift. NO SWING SHIFT! NO WORKING WITH FIBERGLASS! NO HAIRNETS OR COLD WORK CONDITIONS! Work a 12-hour schedule of 4 days on and then 4 days off in a great team environment where you are valued and appreciated. Job Purpose To operate a simple piece of equipment with repetitive functions. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Develop and Operate a simple piece of equipment with repetitive functions. Perform general preventative maintenance. Perform minimal set up work with no ability to make process change. Perform other duties as necessary. Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. What do I need to be successful? Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of simple equipment operation. Knowledge of general equipment maintenance. Time management skills. Demonstrated mechanical ability. Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations. Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Experience: 3 – 6 months experience. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position. Education Plant environment.
