Job Title: Assembly C Job Code: 40763 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Description: Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Essential Functions: Fully comprehends and interprets including a variety of technical specifications, IPC & J-STD knowledge, terms, and documents. Must be flexible in supporting the program needs by being readily available to flex between processes as necessary. Understanding complex work instructions Programing and operation of automated equipment Must be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise, providing on the job training when necessary. Be able to work under a low power microscope. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments As applicable, works autonomously within their designated area. Qualifications: Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
