Job Title: Associate, Tax (Tax Operations Analyst) Job Code: 41737 Job Location: (On Site) Melbourne, FL Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is actively seeking a Tax Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a core member of the Corporate Tax Department, supporting the department’s reporting requirements, budgetary processes and administrative needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, communication and software skills. Essential Functions: Assist with the preparation of tax-related schedules and reports, and other departmental deliverables. Support the maintenance of tax software and data files through preparation of analytic reports, including tax calendars and tax compliance or provision datasets. Assist with the preparation of the Tax Department budget, including monitoring variances. Match external invoices to statements of work and enter data into applicable systems to process payments. Compile, monitor and submit expense reports for the Tax Department. Maintain accurate inventory and organization of Tax Department’s off-site records. Coordinate with internal and external functions to support Tax Department operations, including Security, Facilities, IT, external consultants, etc. Ensure compliance with security-related requirements, including badging requests and submission of required background information as necessary. Identify potential gaps in requests or processes, or deliverables and proactively help address Tax Department needs. Adapt to changing priorities, processes, systems, and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience in tax, finance, accounting, or administrative operations. Preferred Additional Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and/or tax concepts. Ability to read and interpret basic financial documents, bookkeeping records and budget or forecast reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook. Intermediate Excel skills, basic data reconciliation, working with large datasets, supported by use of formulas (SUM, IF, VLOOKUPs), sorting, filtering, formatting, etc. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships. Experience in an office, clerical, finance, accounting or customer service setting. Experience supporting a tax, finance, or accounting function. Experience with invoice processing, expense reporting, or budget tracking. Experience working with financial, reporting, or tax-related software. #LI-NR1
