Job Title: Project Manager Job Code: 40891 Job Location: Huntsville, AL Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off Job Description: The Advanced Operation Technologies team is seeking a Project Manager to support automation and digital factory, focusing on meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance goals to improve manufacturing processes and facilities. This individual will work within a matrix organization, aligning high level objectives with detailed plans. Essential Functions: · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineers, procurement, scheduling and finance to achieve key performance metrics. · Support proposal activities, including estimating and writing basis of estimates. · Review status of engineering projects and budgets, manage schedules, drive execution, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver results. · Present project status information to internal and external leadership teams. · Provide input to the Integrated Master Schedule · Proficiency with MS Office suite of tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 4 years of prior project mgmt related experience; or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior project mgmt related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior project mgmt related experience. · Active Secret clearance required on day 1. Preferred Additional Skills: · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. · Earned Value Management Experience including baseline activities, estimates at complete and variance analysis · Proficient in Microsoft Project. · Experience or knowledge of purchase order process and NDA’s (Non-Disclosure Agreements) · Previous experience in aerospace or defense industry · Experience with Automation or Digital Factory projects #LI-WN1
