About The Role
Introduction Sentence We are looking for you to join our headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity in full-time (38.5 h/week)! Your new job includes In this role, you will report directly to our CCO and take on a central function within the Commercial division as a strategic sparring partner and right hand. You will actively support the CCO in steering the area, prepare complex topics and create the basis for well-founded decisions at top management level. In particular, you will actively support the CCO in strategic and operational matters and serve as a sparring partner at top management level structure and prepare complex topics and decisions in a clear and concise way (e.g., analyses, presentations, decision papers) consolidate, prioritize, and track the execution of key topics and initiatives across the CCO organization prepare and closely support the implementation of overarching innovation initiatives and strategic projects beyond the core business, such as the further development of the Domestic Distribution business identify efficiency opportunities within the Commercial organization and actively support the implementation of concrete improvement measures coordinate cross-functional topics and ensure that agreed initiatives are consistently driven forward leverage external insights and best practices and translate them into value for the organization contribute to the continuous improvement of ways of working and decision-making processes within the Commercial function shape AI and data-driven initiatives as an integral part of the function’s ongoing development identify, assess, and drive relevant AI and analytics use cases from a business perspective contribute to the development and prioritization of the corresponding roadmap and support its implementation Preferred Profile several years of experience in a strategic, transformation-focused, or commercial role (e.g., Commercial Development, Corporate Strategy, In-house Consulting, or Management Consulting) proven track record in structuring, prioritizing, and delivering initiatives within complex corporate environments strong understanding of commercial levers and business drivers (e.g., pricing, category management, sales, supply chain, or comparable areas) excellent analytical skills and the ability to break down complex challenges into clear structures and actionable solutions experience working with senior stakeholders, combined with strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills solid understanding of data, analytics, and AI topics from a business perspective, particularly in identifying, assessing, and implementing data-driven use cases with clear business impact understanding of the end-to-end development of use cases, from hypothesis generation and proof of concept (PoC) through pilot execution to scalable operational deployment ability to act as a translator between business, technology, and management, bringing together different perspectives into a clear and actionable approach high level of ownership, a hands-on mindset, and a strong motivation to actively shape and drive initiatives forwar If you do not tick all boxes, but still believe you are a match to this role, we are happy to get in touch.
