Introduction Sentence We are looking for you to join our headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity in full-time (38.5 h/week)! Your new job includes Gebr. Heinemann is undergoing a strategic brand transformation—and you’ll be right in the thick of it. In your role as Senior Brand Strategy & Transformation Manager (m/f/d), you’ll take on the internal leadership role in an ambitious process that will fundamentally reshape our brand landscape, our way of working, and our creative strategy. You won’t be working alone, but rather as a strategic leader: You’ll guide, brief, and challenge external strategy partners, operating system partners, and lead creative agencies—and ensure that the results are embedded within the company and have a lasting impact. In particular, you will act as the central internal counterpart for three strategic agency partners (Brand Strategy, Operating System, Lead Creative)—you’ll guide, challenge, and develop alongside them refine the overarching brand strategy and positioning in the international travel retail landscape in close collaboration with external partners, and embed it internally ensure that agency output is not only strategically sound but also works in the real-world context of the company—from store locations all the way up to the Executive Board translate the brand strategy into clear guidelines for consistent storytelling and a consistent brand experience, and communicate these internally make the complex simple: present and advocate for strategic content in a way that is understandable to various stakeholders—both internal and external prepare decision-making materials and presentations for the Executive Board, actively shape strategic discussions, and advocate for your own recommendations with conviction drive the transformation with empathy: engage locations and internal teams, build acceptance, and design key structures to deliver visible added value support partnerships and collaboration models in collaboration with internal and external partners through to implementation and handover Preferred Profile A degree in marketing, business administration, or a comparable qualification More than 5 years of experience in brand management, brand strategy, or strategic brand leadership—ideally with an international focus and in a retail environment Proven experience in managing and challenging external creative and strategy agencies—you know how to lead partners to peak performance A well-rounded brand profile: you haven’t just managed brands, but helped shape them—and you have a genuine instinct for what makes a brand strong A strong ability to simplify complex issues and convince diverse audiences—from the shop floor to the C-suite Strong stakeholder management skills and the empathy to not only drive change but also gain buy-in Global mindset: You think beyond the German market and understand how to create brand work that is consistently international yet locally relevant Strategic thinking combined with pragmatism—you develop positions and recommendations and advocate for them Excellent written and spoken German and English skills If you do not tick all boxes, but still believe you are a match to this role, we are happy to get in touch.
