About The Role
The Impact You'll Make The Business Development Manager - Incubation is a customer-facing role responsible for the engineering relationships and technical engagement with strategic data center customers across the region and responsible for translating distinct customer requirements into structured inputs for the Incubation funnel and for supporting concept validation through targeted customer engagement. The Business Development Manager cooperates with Product Managers, sales teams and system application engineering teams globally to establish and execute strategic plans for extending product offerings and to address new markets and customers within the data center cooling market. What You’ll Be Doing Responsible Level: Customer Engineering — Build technical relationships with key data center customers; customers' roadmap/design engagement 12-24 months ahead of procurement Requirements Gathering — VoC collection; validate customer specifications vs. segment-wide needs Technical Engagement & Concept Validation — Lead technical scoping discussion and support proof of concept engagement. Commercialization — Launch products in development; create new customer opportunities Commercial Coordination — Align incubation with regional sales; Handover commercialzation to regional sales at market readiness Industry & Ecosystem Engagement — Represent at events; track regulatory, sustainability, market trends Competitive Intelligence — Competitor analysis, market share, threat assessment Marketing & Exhibition Support — Regional exhibitions and market envents, training to internal and external Support Level: Go-to-Market Planning & Launch Readiness — Market plans, launch criteria, cross-functional alignment Business Development Strategy — VoC, SWOT, roadmaps, M&A support What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field required. Masters or MBA – Highly preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in product management, product marketing, or commercial strategy roles, with substantial business-to-business technology experience. Working knowledge of data center liquid cooling architectures. Work experience in regional data center market in a commercial or strategical role. Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with engineering organisations and to translate effectively between technical and commercial stakeholders.
