Job Summary We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Director to lead financial operations for our Energy & Communications businesses within National Solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role that partners directly with business presidents and senior leaders to drive performance, enable growth, and deliver actionable insights . You will play a critical role in shaping strategy, improving operational efficiency, and building a strong, collaborative finance team. Job Location This is an onsite role based at our Corporate Office in Atlanta, GA. Job Responsibilities Drive Business Performance Own full financial accountability for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow Partner with senior leadership to influence decisions and deliver profitable growth Identify risks and opportunities, and lead actions to improve results Lead Financial Planning & Analysis Collaborate with the National Solutions FP&A team to ensure forecasts, budgets, and monthly business reviews are completed accurately and on time Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance and inform decision-making Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Enhance Operational Efficiency Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability Drive margin improvement through pricing, cost management, and productivity initiatives Leverage systems and tools to strengthen financial processes Ensure Strong Governance Maintain compliance with financial policies, controls, and reporting requirements Support audit activities and ensure accuracy and transparency in reporting Support Growth Initiatives Lead financial oversight of capital investments and track project performance Support M&A activities including due diligence and integration Provide financial analysis and business cases for strategic initiatives Build and Develop Talent Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Partner across functions to support business success Job Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business 10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a public company and manufacturing environment 5+ years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor talent Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into meaningful, executive-level insights Proven communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence decision-making Demonstrated success driving process improvement and operational efficiencies Experience with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, HFM) M&A experience preferred Strong collaborator with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
