Name of the Project: Supply Chain Processes & Digital Services Intern Vice Presidency: Digital Enablement Region: Central Intern’s Location (Office): Margain Offices Eligible Semester(s): 5th - 8th semester Careers of Interest: Digital Business Transformation, Engineering Industrial and Systems, Engineering Business Management, Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Schedule Availability: Between 25 and 30 hours per week Period of Stay at CEMEX: 6 months, with the option of renewal Tentative Start Date: August 2026 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Detailed Description of the Project Design and implement supply chain analytics, optimization, simulation, and digital solutions to evaluate business scenarios, improve operational performance, and quantify value creation across global operations. Project Objective Design and implement data-driven supply chain solutions that leverage analytics, optimization, simulation, and digital technologies to improve operational performance, support strategic decision-making, and accelerate digital transformation across global business units while delivering measurable business value. Challenges for the Students Support complex projects with tight deadlines and limited resources. Understanding cultural differences and the ability to work in a diverse environment. Analyze data and provide insights to support strategic decisions Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Measure the effectiveness and engagement of all digitalization projects Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out Support the design, development, and deployment of supply chain digital solutions for global operations. Assist in building simulation and optimization models to evaluate different business scenarios, capacity constraints, transportation strategies, and operational improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, IT, and Product Management to gather requirements and validate business needs. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of digital products by documenting processes, testing new features, and measuring business value. Specific Requirements / Qualifications Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively convey information and collaborate with various teams. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Numerical, mathematical, and optimization‑oriented Analytical skills Knowledge of linear programming and operations research (Desired) Passionate about digital supply chain trends Practical experience in Logistics & Supply Chain and Product Management. Agile knowledge
