Locate corresponding installation and manufacturing drawings in preparation for silk-screening Assist with fabricating and assembling silkscreen frame and stretching fabric as required Create silkscreen of placard image using appropriate film and image plate maker Develop and wash out film and apply placard image to screen for drying Create FAA required and customer requested placards, decals, signs, and aircraft parts using silk-screening Assist with creating signs, banners, lettering, and decals using silk-screening or vinyl appliques Receive process order and review corresponding drawing(s) for modifications Trim, identify, and bag parts for inspection sign-off Maintain and update placard artwork files Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s)of qualification Basic knowledge of photography and film processing Organizational skills necessary to maintain artwork files Ability to perform silkscreen process using related equipment and tools Ability to assist with fabricating and assembling silkscreen frames How to thrive in this role?
